Is the Swimming Federation of India Spewing Propaganda?
I wrote an article last week about the future of India’s swimming program being a 15 year old by the name of Virdhawal Vikram Khade.
Was my article misleading? Is the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) at fault for spouting out this propoganda? Swim India thinks so. He makes the point of wondering […]
Think Your Pool is Cold?
A recent Charity event in Millvillle, New Jersey, where people raise money for high school swimming by jumping into a freezing cold lake, went awry when two of the younger participants had to be treated for signs of hypothermia. Commissioner Tim Shannon, however, stood firmly by the event, telling the Bridgeton News that he would […]

“All is not lost with Ian retiring,” Australian sprinter Ashley Callus told the Australian paper The Herald Sun, “We’ll definitely use it for motivation to get out there and show that Ian was great, but we can still do it without him.”
The Australian press has gone wild since Thorpe announced his retirement in November, and […]
David Davies Takes Different Approach than Larsen Jensen
As we told you last week, Larsen Jensen criticized Grant Hackett’s problems as of late, saying, “I think excuses are like butt-holes, everyone has one and they all stink.” Jensen’s British counterpart, David Davies, however has elected to take another approach to Hackett’s worries: flattery.

I was surprised to read an article from The Guardian today that stated it is projected nearly 1.7 million people in the United Kingdom will suffer from Dementia by 2051. From a financial perspective, the article claims that will add up to a cost of £539 a second. More importantly, I think, is the emotional […]

Why is Swimming So Popular in Australia?

Home Schooling in Tennessee Has Its Own Swimming Team
I swim for the Home Schoolers! For the last three years, home school teams did not get any recognition because Tennessee high school swimming recognized home-schooled swimmers as individuals but not as a team.
All that changed Thursday night on the eve of this season’s state swimming championships, when high school coaches from across the […]
