Men’s NCAA Division 1 Psych Sheet Released

In line with recent tradition (and certainly the women’s D1 Psych Sheet), this meet took unprecedented times to merit an invitation. The women’s meet is so far beyond historically fast (10 total B cuts falls into the realm of stupidly fast), one could easily overlook how truly quick the men’s cuts are this year.

Pac 10 Champs: Soni Takes Down NCAA Mark, Arizona Three-Peats

It would only be appropriate that the fine swimming from the Pac 10 do the talking, not me.  I will only say that Rebecca Soni is outside the realm of mere mortals.

No one put up much of a fight for the Cavaliers in the team standings in this one, just a year after the Florida State Men broke through with a huge win.  Similar to the Big 12’s and Big 10’s though, you shouldn’t tune into these results for the team race but to see some great […]

Michigan Maintains Lead at Big 10’s

We said that Indiana and Minnesota would have to be close to perfect from here on in if they were to challenge Michigan for tops in the Big 10.  In line with that, despite a strong push by Indiana tonight it appears that Michigan’s depth will be too much to overcome.

Having only taken over the program in 2004, co-head coaches Kelly Kremer and Terry Nieszner have to be in the discussion for coaches of the year.  What they have done at Minnesota is simply phenomenal and truly showed up at this year’s Championships.  The Gophers’ win was highlighted by freshman phenom Jillian Tyler.
