“Quite good fun.” That’s what Great Britain’s David Davies is quoted as saying in describing his 10k victory at the South African Open Water Championships last month. Apparently the one hour-fifty three minute race was such good fun that Davies now says he does want to swim it in Beijing.

Two Die in Taiwan Open Water Swim
Two people have reportedly died during the Sun Moon Lake Open Water Swim over the weekend in Taiwan. Over 20,000 people swam across the Central Taiwan Lake but a 72 and 46 year old man both died during the event, which also saw one fatality in 1996 (the event has occurred for 25 years).
Sutton and Dyatchine Repeat As Tiburon Champions
American superstar Chloe Sutton and Russian World champion Vladimir Dyatchine won the Tiburon Mile, a prestigious race on the Open Water circuit.
